• Your printer was made to connect to a wireless modem. The verizon hotspot is a type of modem but its not always on.

• You should be fine. You may have some challenges if you turn your hotspot on and off frequently (getting new ip addresses). Otherwise, go for it!

• Yes it should it does hook up to my Sprint Hot Spot just fine.
