• You don't need the internet to use this; nor do you need wifi. I didn't want to use this with wifi, so it is connected to my pc with a USB cable. The USB didn't come with the printer though, so I used the one from my last printer. Hope this helps.

• Sure, you can use a USB cable to a computer, or you can print wirelessly using WiFi Direct.
