No. This printer and most other printers made by HP DO NOT use or do Bluetooth printing. The Bluetooth logo on the box states "Bluetooth Smart". This also known as Bluetooth LE (BLE) or Bluetooth Low Energy. HP uses this ONLY for the pairing assistance to share information about devices to help set up Wireless Direct printing. Does it end up doing what you want in the long run? Yes, but the terminology is important. With Wireless Direct, which uses a traditional wireless signal (that's why HP's website says the wireless support on their printers are 802.11n, no "B" for Bluetooth), you can directly connect your PC or smart mobile device (tablet and phone) to the printer to print. In essence, it performs what you want but not by using Bluetooth. You can also look here on HP's website which very specifically states this and in bold is very explicit that printers with the Bluetooth Smart feature DOES NOT perform Bluetooth printing. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05166195 "Bluetooth Smart does not enable Bluetooth printing." We just have too much technology to keep track of. :)

This printer, as well as most printers nowadays, do not have bluetooth but instead rely on WiFi connectivity. Have the printers somewhere without WiFi? No worries, the printer can also broadcast a Wireless Direct signal which you can connect to just for printing.
