• Yes it can. The printer is wireless. You set it up and connect it to the wifi. Then you would go to the HP website and download the software on your laptop and your set to go.

• I set mine up with my iPhone and connected for printing from my iPad so I feel sure you could use a MacBook Air as long as you have wireless WiFi
