“i am trying set up the printer to my phone & laptop. it says to go to settings and see if it is on the same wireless. It comes up under my wireless but asks for password.There is no password.I tried my password from my wireless router but does not work”

• You need to get the HP Smart app, it makes it much easier to set it up without needing a password.

• Had similar problem. went to settings, selected devises, printer , ran trouble shooter from internet explorer, said hp 6000 was not default printer. roamed around thru files till found file name combining hp printer and comcast, selected as default and it worked. I'M sure there is better way than this.
