“Does this printer have the ability to enlarge and reduce material that is on the screen and then print the smaller or larger material? I just purchased a HP DeskJet 2725 and I don't think it has the ability to change the size of the original document.”

Yes it does using the full HP scanning software or the HP Smart App. If you want to adjust scan size, output type, scan resolution, or file type, and so on, you need to start the scan from the printer software.
