• No one cannot. Getting the separate software as a download from HP's website is convoluted, difficult, and cannot get scan to work wirelessly. This is not a wireless scanner printer. It is a devise from which HP can collect your data.

• You can scan by downloading HP's full-featured printing software for free from its site or using the Windows Fax and Scan tool if the device you're scanning to is a Windows-based computer.
