The Instant Ink program is a subscription program that ships ink (and paper, if you so choose) to your house or business when you are running low on ink. It bases its cost off the amount of pages you print each month, rather than the ink you use, making it great for saving money. The cartridges can sometimes contain more ink depending on your printing needs - however, the sizes are made to fit your printer, much like the HP XL cartridges versus standard cartridges.
