It's completely wireless, except power of course, as far as i'm aware it's just wifi for connectivity but you could easily throw up a hotspot and do everything that way. In my opinion I wouldn't use it for mobile, it is a little bulky and has a big ole glass screen scanner. I'd recommend looking into a rechargeable portable thermal printer. It'll blow your mind
