“my older HP PC also had a DVI port (shown in picture). can i take the new PC to a technician and have them install it to this one? can i do the same with the HDD from the older PC? or is it inviting problems to the new PC? old PC kept shutting down...”

• There's really no way a port to the computer, but it's actually not necessary. You can get an adapter that will take the video output from the HDMI port on the computer and connect it to the DVI cable that you're currently using. With the old HDD, there isn't a drive bay in the computer to secure it. However, whoever you'd use for the computer work should be able to copy your data files from the old hard drive to the new SSD in the computer
