“What is the brightness level and can I upgrade the ram? In Q&A HP assistants say yes (a day ago) and no (4 weeks ago) to ram upgrade. Any idea why? I'm asking for 13m-bd0023dx model number.”

I have checked with two separate websites that sell RAM for upgrades and they both said that this model could not be upgraded. If you look under that tab that says "From the Manufacturer", click on that. At the bottom you will see a little circle with a plus sign in it. The word "document" is beside it. Click that plus sign and there will be a 2 page specifications sheet that will provide a tremendous amount of info. The sheet says the RAM is "on board", meaning its soldered. Also, it says the screen brightness is 1000 nits. I own this laptop and the screen is bright and fantastic.
