“Hi . The computer came with 2 4gb sticks of ram at 3200 mhz. I am wondering if I can take both of those out and put my own sticks in which are 2 8gb sticks of ram. The only difference is that they are at a speed of 2666 mhz. Would they work in the laptop?”

Yes, you'd be able to have the 4 gigabyte modules replaced with those two 8 gigabyte sticks. But the question is do you need the extra RAM more than you need the speed of the existing RAM. Also, because of where the memory is, you really need to have it done by a trained technician to handle the disassembly and reassembly.
