• I would say no. The graphics or integrated and limited to only 512 MB. If you want to have a gaming laptop on a budget the HP Invictus with a 1650 is a much better option. Currently it’s $550.

• You would want to like at the system requirements from the developer's site for any software you want to use. Updates can affect the settings you would be able to use or if you can use the software at all. With gaming you do have Cloud options available that can give you access to software that this unit could not play on its own normally.
