• You would have to remove the bottom cover to get to the battery. It will depend on what battery is in your specific model. I would recommend reaching out to HP Support or Best Buy's Geek Squad for further assistance.

• go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKqnfJvjZwg but it is so complicated it's just not worth it in my opinion. You, like me, were probably looking for a "normal" laptop. This is not it. This is a gaming laptop. Bought it yesterday and I'm getting rid of it.
