“Would this be a good laptop for students? My concern is attending a zoom class as well as taking notes at the same time. I’m using grant money to buy a laptop for the next 4 yrs, and I want to make the best decision possible, financially and practically.”

I am a student as well, and that is the primary reason that I bought this laptop. It’s a beautiful laptop, but no I would not recommend it. You seem like you’ll be using it for multitasking like I was. The sound of whatever video or music you’re playing in the background will lag and glitch while you’re typing and taking notes. I tried to contact HP about this and after we did everything possible to fix it, the problem persisted. I think there’s just something wrong in this model.
