“My screen is separating from the backing at the lower right side. It appears to be caused by the hinge spring tension. Currently I am operating the computer as a desktop, not closing it. Any ideas on a fix would be very much appreciated. Thank you”

I had this issue! If you have had the laptop for less than 1 year, you can take it in for free repairs. They take about a week to return the laptop to you, so make sure you have a backup device.
