• As long as you enroll your HP printer an instant ink plan, you can use this card and redeem the code as a prepaid balance to your account. On the due date, the amount will deduct from your account balance. If you did not enroll any plan, you cannot use this card and must buy brand new ink cartridges when you run out of ink. Hope this helps.

• Hello, if you already have an Instant Ink account you can just add the prepaid card code to your account. If you have an HP printer that isn't using Instant ink you can go to InstantInk.com and sign up for the new account there and use the code to add that free ink to your account.
