• Thank you for your question! You can use the cartridges that come with your printer and if it is eligible for Instant Ink HP will automatically send you ink when you need it if you are a subscriber.

• Just make sure u r buying the correct cartridge for the printer...see manual. Otherwise u should not have any issues
