QuestionInstant Ink not compatable with HP4650?the instant ink says it is offered with the printer I want to buy, but when I click on the option 300 sheets per month it lists all other HP models except the one I want to buy. Why would you offer instant ink for something it is not compatable with?

- Answer I'm pretty sure the program is compatible with most HP Inkjet printers. (Laser printers, and some DeskJet, Wide Format, or PageWide printers are not compatible) If the website has a picture of the box, qualified printers have an Instant Ink Qualified printed on the box. You can always check on HP's website. Not all models will be listed, because there's hundreds that qualify.

QuestionInternet connectionMy printer is connected to the internet by mobile hot spot and or wi fi so it doesn't have a constant connection. Does HP count every page you print every time you use it or will the printer keep track and send the info when I connect. No one I have talked to knows if instant ink will work in my application

- Answer It should work. I have made copies with my printer off line and it updated the total printed pages on the HP Connect web site after the printer went back on line. The only drawback would be if you make a lot of copies off line and ink gets low the printer will not be able to communicate with the system to order new ink.

- Answer The prepaid card redeem code can only be used once. Login to your instant ink account and add funds to your account. I only have one printer so not sure how it works for more than one printer on the account.

- Answer you can either prepurchase these cards, and the $5 is deducted from whichever plan you choose as a credit when yoi gonto the website and create an account. Or you can go straight to the HP instaprint website and create an account.

- Answer You get extra free pages for the first 2 months so you don’t go over and you can always change your plan. You keep your rollover pages too if you don’t use them all. I chose the 100 page plan and it gave me 300/ mo for the first 2 months just in case. My rollover is based on 100 though.

- Answer HP has a link on this webiste https://instantink.hpconnected.com/us/en/ that will list the supported printers. In general, a current HP printer with an Internet connection is needed. Check the list to be sure your printer is supported.
