HP - 141A Standard Capacity Toner Cartridge - Black Model: W1410ASKU: 6508022 Currently on 9/23/2025, selling at $61.99 here in WA state. Beware if shopping online for 3rd party cartridges, for less than half this price! Be sure to read the one-star reviews for those cartridges. They say they will not work with the printer because only HP cartridges will work!

A previous answer here to this question states that the replacement cartridges are available in two-pack online for a reasonable price. TRUE BUT... I checked that seller on Am*z*on and found, in the recent one-star reviews, that those cartridges do not work with this printer! Apparently because HP does not allow third party cartridges to function on this printer. IN FACT THE PRICE OF THE REPLACEMENT HP CARTRIDGES IS $71.99.

The number of pages you get may be more or fewer than the ISO standard. Please check Best Buy or the Best Buy website for the current price.

I found compatible replacements on Amazon, a 2-pack for about $60, which should arrive today (free delivery thanks to my Prime acct).

The cost depends on which type of cartridge you buy: there is both a starter and a full cartridge, with different prices which also depend on where you buy them, how many you buy at one time, and when. Better to get several if you think you'll need them, since Trump's tariffs will only increase the price with time.
