“Can I turn my modem off and unplug the printer at night when not on the Instant Ink program? Is USB and Ethernet better in this case than wifi? I understand that the printer requires an internet connection-hopefully not constantly?”

Hi Regsel, thanks for your question about this HP LaserJet M234dwe printer! You can certainly turn the printer off, and disconnect from your internet, but is recommended to have a connection for security and firmware updates, whether from the wireless feature or a wired connection.
