how do you scan on this machine? null

You scan your docs/pics from under the top lid. YOU MUST INSTALL SMART HP first on your PC/phone. You can only scan one doc/pic at a time, in b/w or full 600 dpi color. Works great. You can also scan docs and save them as a .pdf to your device.

You'll put the document face down on the scanning glass on the top of the printer, and then select "copy" from the buttons on the top.
