Yes. One of the coolest surprise features about this printer is that in the web console's advanced configuration, you can even force it to Black-only mode, which means even if a user mistakenly sends a color job, it will still automatically come out only using black toner.

Yes, it will print just fine. However, it is always recommended that you select b&w under the print options after you click print on a document to avoid any issues I.e. something that would be printed yellow, may not show up if there’s no yellow ink unless you select b&w print mode at the computer.
