• Thanks for your question. The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301fdw model supports a fax line. The 3301sdw does not have a fax line, it only supports digital faxing with the HP Smart app.

• The "s" in sdw tells you the unit will scan documents and send them to your computer.
