I think it will detect on your computer or cellphone if you set up the wirelelss connection. With this printer, I didn’t have to upload any programs into my computer to work. I just use a USB to save documents that I need to print and stick it into the front of the printer where it connects. I scanned, copied, and printed a few documents with this color printer machine and the result was very good.
