A:AnswerI think you are referring to MICR or Magnetic Ink Character Recognition printing. No, HP does not make MICR ink or toner or printers. We do certify the Troy Group to modify some HP LaserJet printers and sell them and provide MICR toner. You may try to check with your bank as you can use pre-printed forms and not use MICR printing. But if you need MICR here is the link to the troy group:

A:AnswerYou can troubleshoot printing problems for the HP M281dw LaserJet Pro Color printer here:

A:AnswerFirst off, this printer DOES NOT use "ink cartridges" - it uses TONER CARTRIDGES, like Office "copy machines"!
To replace the TONER cartridges, determine which cartridge(s) need replacing and purchase it/them. Next, TURN OFF the printer. Now pull on the top of the FRONT COVER and LOWER it to full open position. Now, grasp the handle at the FRONT of the TONER CARTRIDGE TRAY and pull it "up and forward" until it stops. Now, follow the directions provided with the REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE to remove the used cartridge and install the new one. Re-package the OLD cartridge and either toss it in the trash or mail it to a Toner Cartridge Recycling Facility. NOTE: these instructions are included in the printer's USER MANUAL that is on the Installation CD or downloaded from the HP web site. The REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGES most likely include these instructions on an enclosed sheet.
Hope this helps...
A:AnswerThe "second tray" is the MANUAL FEED "SLOT" directly above the main paper tray. You have to "explicitly" tell the printer, via "Setup", what paper size it'll be used for. The slot can only take ONE SHEET AT A TIME.
The Main Paper Drawer, OTOH, can be configured for ONE SIZE ONLY: Letter, Legal, Photo, etc.
The lack of a "separate drawer" for holding "other than Letter" stock is the only real "minus" of this printer. However, if you "infrequently" use paper OTHER THAN "Letter", then the Manual Slot isn't too much of a "hassle" to use.
