“How complicated is the wireless set up? I recently bought a Canon printer and the setup was horrible. There was no screen and it was never able to connect to my wifi and looked up numerous tutorials online but none could help my flashing light problem. SO will I have that much trouble with this setup as well?”

I don't think so. I am a novice at techy things and was worried about setting it up on my own but it was so easy. Just followed step by step and it was done.

Please try again later.I hate my Cannon Pixma MG5420!..too!..,. always running out of each individual color cartridges....I've paid more in color cartridges than I paid for this printer! I am now shopping for a new HP as I've owned several HP Printers & they are wonderful because they do have models like this one that you can use only black if u want....it keeps on printing even when the tricolor one is dried up. I own one like that. Be careful tho, HP does sell 'some models' that have all of those individual color cartridges! Thinking I'll replace the hardly used Cannon with this HP!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like most current HP printers, the wireless is easy to set up. The software will either prompt you to let HP do all the work or you can use the printer's touch screen to use the Wireless Wizard.

I had to go into my router and type in the printer's MAC address to assign an IP address, and then reboot both the printer and router, before the HP software on my computer was able to recognize it and install the HP software.
