You can bypass the wifi by hard wiring the printer into your your PC or laptop and use your landline for faxing. With this printer you can get a splitter for your jack and receive faxes while your on the phone.. The best advise I can give you is to chat with a bestbuy agent online and tell them your needs and price range. They found this printer for me and it's a great printer.
