The paper tray is in the front, and runs along the bottom of the printer. It is capable of faxing, yes, through a proper landline, and it's super easy to install and set up!! We recommend using the HP Smart App for the simplest installation experience.

It's almost hidden in the front. A little tray handle pulls out from the middle front, and an extra handle moves up so papers don't fall or after printing multiple pages. And it does fax, but you need to connect a phone line.
