“Can you print in black ink if the color cartridge is out of ink without replacing the color cartridge? Another brand printer that I have will not print if one of the color cartridges is out of ink - you must replace the color cartridge first - not good!”

• Yes, you simply remove the cartridge which is empty and the printer will switch to single cartridge mode and continue printing.

• Yes you can. Simply indicate that you want to print gray-scale.
