“Original question is not answered. I wanted to know if the cartridge grinding is normal, and the person who answered merely says they had no problem. I'm assuming there is something wrong with my printer. I would like to know how to fix it!”

I have used the printer for over 4 months, I liked the one I bought in FL so much i bought one for my vacation home and I have no grinding, I believe there is something wrong with your printer.
