• You can place a stack (I believe up to 30-35 sheets) and rely on the document feeder to scan one page after another.

• You can scan from the document feeder. You put the documents in face up.

• You can scan multiple pages through feeder. Only drawback is it won't scan front and back at same time on 2 sided documents

• Yes, the document feeder allows you to scan multiple pages without having to place them all on the glass one-by-one, which is pretty convenient if you need to scan a large, multi-page document.

• You may put up to 20 sheets into the document feeder. Keep in mind that this printer will not scan both sides of a document automatically. If scanning to a PDF, each page will go into a single file. If scanning as a JPEG, the filename will be changed by a 4-digit number after the name given by the user and each page is its own file.
