Is this print print compatible with AirPrint? Can you print directly from Apple mobile devices without using an HP app? null

I print directly from my iPad without a problem. The printer has to be set to the same internet connection as the iPad. I have not used the "app" for my phone or iPad and it has worked fine without it so far.

We have ipads and have no problem printing from them. The ipad recognizes the printer without any special apps

This HP printer has the Airprint capability and you will have to use the HP app in order to print directly from an Apple mobile device.
