• Yes, it can be hooked up with a cable which is the way I use mine.

• No you do not have to connect thru wifi. We have ours connected via printer cable directly to our computer.

• Only sometimes. I have had TERRIBLE issues with the printer keeping the WiFi connection. Have updated software and drivers, etc. Lots of others complain about it also. It does connect OK directly to computer via USB. I bought this for the wireless printing...wish I had chosen something else.

• Yes, it can be set up through your router, wifi or direct USB. I would stay away from this printer, it is way too slow and for the price.
