I doubt if you'll find anyone else who had/has your old printer and bought this new one. That said, my husband, I, and engineer son-in-law all spent hours looking at reviews and specs of good mid-range home printers. This seemed to be the best and had the options we wanted for the gift we were giving. It does photos, duplex, wireless, has a touch screen etc. Our daughter's only had it since Christmas, but she's very happy with it. Shopping for printers is no fun, but I'd strongly consider this one , if it lines up with your needs.
