• HP focuses on making sure that the ink hits the page and dries almost instantly so that you do not have to worry about smearing the ink. In most cases, you can even spill water on the page as soon as it leaves the printer without it smearing. Some of it will vary depending on the type of paper being used and HP has paper with ColorLok to make it even harder for the ink to smear. If you wanted to try and see that in person, you can ask for test print at most Best Buy stores.
