It likes to be used at least every 6 months. Direct correlation to a LaserJet is trickier, but closest are the M479fdw or the M283fds *f = fax d = duplex w = wireless

If you are going days or weeks without printing you may want to consider a model like the OfficeJet 5255 which is great for users who print a ream of paper (500 sheets) every 6 months or so.
