“Will the printer work if one of the ink cartridges is out of ink?”

Thank you for your question. The OfficeJet Pro 9125e All-in-One Printer requires all four ink cartridges to be functional in order to operate. If one of the cartridges is out of ink, the printer will not work properly until the empty cartridge is replaced.

Since this is a four-cartridge system that goes into a single printhead, It will not print if one of the cartridges is out of ink. This printer show your ink levels and give you a warning when it runs low. If you're on the HP Instant Ink program, HP will automatically send you the ink you need through the mail at no charge to you!
