The first thing to do is to disconnect the power cord, and then hold the "on/off" button for at least 30 seconds. That will discharge any capacitors in the printer, and then plug it back in, and see if it turns on and off normally. If it doesn't, you'll need to take it to your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad take a look at it.
