I had an OfficeJet Pro 8600 for 12 years before it finally died. I replaced it with a 9135e. The 9135e is a disaster. Don't replace your 8630 with another HP printer. Choose a different brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you don't need the dual paper trays, I suggest the 9125. It's basically the same as the 9135 but the 9125 is $110 less when you catch the sales. It's what I've had for about two years now and it still works really well. It has good speed and quality. I've used a variety of paper types in it for awards and certificates without a jam. The ink cartridges last a long time, although I haven't counted pages. We use it wirelessly over Wi-Fi. I'm really happy with the software, both Android and Windows versions. With it you don't need a dedicated phone line for FAXing, you can do it through the app. It's only practicle though if you're a lite FAX user as there's a fee after a certain number of pages. I've never exceeded the included number so I don't know offhand what it is. Simple to add a phone line if you send or receive more than a few FAX's each month. The software and reliability are reasons enough to stick with HP.
