“Scanning Does this printer scan from the sheet feeder all pages into one file? Or do you have to place each sheet by hand on the glass and add pages through the computer to make up one file?”

• This printer will scan multipage documents through the feeder, and it will create a single pdf file. Very fortunately you do not have to scan them one page at a time. That was one of our main concerns too.

• You can place on either one and select which one you want to scan from. Also, you can set it so that the papers on the sheet feeder can be scanned duplex, meaning front and back.

• You can scan up to 50 sheets into one file through the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) on this HP Printer.

• so far, all I have fed it was scanned in, over 20 pages at one time.
