“Does the brightness control work for anybody ? My control opens and changes but the screen stays at max brightness. Can anybody confirm that theirs works ? Thanks.”

Thanks. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with HP support the other night and we updated all the drivers, BIOS, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. The ticket was escalated but didn't hear anything for two days after that so took a chance and exchanged at Best Buy. New one works fine.

There's an option in the AMD settings called "vari-bright". Turn that off and lemme know how that goes.

Just got mine and has the same exact problem. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling all the video drivers. Nothing worked. Hopefully, they patch this.
