I found this manual below: OMEN by HP 15 Notebook PC (model numbers 15-ce000 through 15-ce099) Maintenance and Service Guide http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05533785 This laptop is a 15-ce015dx which fits the range of numbers in the title except the "dx". It seems to be the right manual for this laptop. If it is the correct manual for this laptop, it lists spare parts below: Memory module Description Spare part number 8 GB 862398-850 4 GB 862397-850 2 GB 864271-850 Memory Support for 16384 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz system memory in the following configurations: 16384 GB (8192 GB × 2) 12288 GB (8192 GB × 1 + 4096 GB × 1) 8192 GB (8192 GB × 1) 8192 GB (4096 GB × 2) 6144 GB (4096 GB × 1 + 2048 GB × 1) 4096 GB (4096 GB × 1) I see the part numbers needed to purchase extra RAM. I do not see that it supports 32 GBs of RAM in this manual. In another question, someone said he successfully installed 32 GBs of RAM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased a 8 GB 862398-850 DIMM as described in the manual above. I just installed it in my HP Omen, and it works without issues. The laptop shows 16 GBs of RAM, Since it came with one 8 GB DIMM, and I added a second 8 GB DIMM, I now have 16 GBs of RAM. I'm happy with the performance of my computer. I'm happy I was able to upgrade the RAM.
