• Yes, one slot. Keep in mind it is an M.2 Form Factor so order the correct type (It looks like a open circuit board and not the regular encased drive). Pretty easy to swap once you get the case off.

• Yes you should be able to increase your HDD space. Check the specs on HP.com or any valid site to see how big of a HDD the Omen can handle. I just bought it and plan on replacing (in a few years) the hybred 1tb+128 drive with a full 1TB ssd drive.
