Q: QuestionIs there an extra slot for additional ram or does the existing ram need to be replaced if desired? I dont want to open it up quite yet. The manual says its under the battery. Any suggestions for ram? Thanks!

Q: QuestionAs i want to upgrade the ram from 8gb to 16gb is there any extra slot for inserting other ram? And if yes then which company ram should i go for good performance? And other ram should be of ddr4 ? Any other specs to be keep in mind while purchasing ram?

• A:Answer There is indeed an extra slot for upgrading RAM. I went with an 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4 2133MHz RAM and it functions perfectly. That is the spec you should keep in mind: it has 2133Mhz ram in one of the slots already so plan on either getting another 2133Mhz RAM card or upgrading both to 2400Mhz. Good luck!
