This is the new version with improved cooling. Obviously long sustained workloads for any laptop is a killer but this laptop fairs quite well. Should get you through heavy workload for at least an hour (I noticed around then it gets real hot). 100% SRGB, DCI-P3 I believe is around the 70%+ and regarding adobe rgb- probably not best to expect that on a gaming laptop
