Yes it has a mux switch No it does not have advanced Optimus USB c charging is not enabled 200 and 230 watt charger are supported but it will throttle performance and make graphically heavy tasks slower than on battery. But for general use web surfing, spreadsheets web conferencing and media consumption ECT work perfectly fine and it charges slightly slower than the included 330w charger. Gsync is on the box and there is an option in hybrid mode in the windows graphics settings to enable a variable refresh rate mode in games. I suspect it will be added in a future bios update officially.
