Thank you for the question. Please review your exact model Omen 25L and advise the model number that's indicated on the back tag.. The model on this link is GT15-1104 and it's presented with 8GB DDR5 RAM, 5200 MHz, (not 4800) and therefore the stick that you purchased would work.
