• Get a flathead screw driver and pop out the center in the back. It is removable and requires a tiny bit of force so don't be surprised.

• There is a quick release to slide the back plate down in order to swap it with a VESA mounting plate. This is the manual https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_7374913_en-US-1.pdf which has the instructions for removing the plate and how to use a VESA mount.
