Thank you for your question. Yes, you can use an aux cable to connect speakers to the Omen 27qs monitor. The monitor features a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is the same size as a standard aux cable.

Despite this, I would still not recommend using the monitor as your preferred method of external audio, especially if you are using this monitor with your gaming or personal computer. The monitor has built-in speakers, though their quality is questionable compared to standalone dedicated external speakers. While you can plug whatever external speakers you have into the monitor, if you're using a computer I would recommend plugging those directly into the computer instead. This reduces latency, can potentially improve the audio quality, and reduces the number of products/accessories that rely on the monitor to work rather than your computer itself. That's to say that the origin of your audio is a computer. If you use this monitor with a console, digital streaming device, or anything else that may not have an aux port, then obviously using the monitor's aux port is your only option as, again, I would not recommend using just the built-in speaker system. If you're using external speakers, though, make sure that they are self-powered, because passive speakers will not work with this monitor. So, while the answer is technically yes, I would not recommend you plug speakers into the aux port of this monitor, unless it is absolutely necessary.
